About me

I am Andrea, Electronic Engineer in Computer Science graduated from Universidad Yacambú Venezuela, with studies in Ethical Hacking.

My journey in the world of automation started in college from the use of diodes to PLC, where my native language was Visual Basic, thanks to this, I was able to emigrate to Colombia, and get my first jobs as a .NET consultant.

Thanks to this set of skills I was able to get my first job in RPA at the beginning of 2017, where Blue Prism was my first teacher in these feats of Robotic Process Automation (RPA). 

With the passage of time and the creation of new software, I learned UiPath and then Automation Anywhere, this led me to work in wonderful companies with clients I never imagined such as ABInBev, Avianca, Alianza Valores, Bimbo, Ecopetrol, Newell Brands, Adidas, among other incredible companies.

I have done close to 100 automations with Blue Prism, UiPath and Automation Anywhere, however I have also used other RPA software such as NICE, Rocketbot, Microsoft Power Automate Desktop, SAP Process Automation and even Open Source and Python automations. I just don't use them as often.

As the automation world has grown by leaps and bounds, and staff was scarce, I have always been able to develop new knowledge and skills in the whole RPA lifecycle, from process discovery, filtering and process selection, development, testing, steps to production and the part I like the most, production support.

I have knowledge in .NET programming, specifically Visual Basic and C#, I handle Python, Javascript and a little bit of Java.

As for database, I know SQL and MySQL quite well.

As for infrastructure, it is a topic that I am passionate about, where I have knowledge in Azure, AWS and Oracle, I have only used them to deploy virtual machines for RPA but I do not close my mind to give more use.

In systems integration, I have knowledge in the use of OCR, API, Webservices consumption, SAP, ORACLE, use of JSON, and XML.

I am currently focused on increasing my knowledge in Microsoft Power Automate.
